The following should be added description North East

Territorial Waters after sub paragraph 1 begins:

2. Having regard to overlap of Chinese Territorial

Waters, all waters within three miles of the sub-tending to

mouth of Mrs Bay ends 5. P.2 should be left unaltered

but should become 5. P.3.

Imendation should also be made of description

of North West:-

passage which begins "to North West" and ends "December 11th"

begins. Water within 3 miles from line sub-tending to

mouth of Deep Bay is included in British claim to territorial

waters to North west but regard should again be had to overlap

ends. No further alterations to be made in telegram.

However, with regard to two areas now included by description

in this amending telegram no claim has in fact been asserted.

This should be clearly understood.
